Domenico Berardi believes that Sassuolo “sent a signal” with their 5-2 win in Milan and admits that they “found themselves a little bit today”, author of a spectacular performance.
“We did very well against Monza and I think we deserved to win there too. Maybe we alternated good performances with a bad attitude, but today you could see that we were all on the same page. We sent a strong signal, it was a great performance in a beautiful stadium like San Siro,” Berardi told Sky Sport Italia. This could be the turning point of Sassuolo’s season, as they had been winless in Serie A since mid-October and had only scored six away goals before scoring five in one go today.
