Juventus’ negotiations to sign Italian goalkeeper Di Gregorio from Monza are at an advanced stage, report Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Turin-based newspaper claims that Juventus are ready to offer the 26-year-old goalkeeper a contract worth €3 million a year until 2029. Bianconeri director Cristiano Giuntoli met Adriano Galliani in Milan on Wednesday evening, moving to the front row for the Italian goalkeeper. According to Tuttosport, Monza’s asking price is around €20 million, while Il Corriere dello Sport reports that the transfer fee is slightly higher at €25 million. Tuttosport claims that Juventus are prepared to include a player in the deal to lower the price. The Serie A giants could involve a player from their academy or even Mattia Perin, who has reportedly decided to leave Juventus to become a regular starter elsewhere in Serie A next season. Juventus plan to make Di Gregorio their second-choice keeper next season and give him a starting berth from 2025 after Wojciech Szczęsny’s exit.
