Gennaro Gattuso has been unemployed since he left Valencia last January. On the show “Radio Anch io lo Sport” on Radio Rai1, the Italian technician expressed his desire to return to Italy. He first mentioned the reasons for his failure in Spain before openly courting Serie A clubs.
“The experience I had in Valencia was incredible. I knew they had problems, with a square against the presidency. I like to see all the soccer, I am a very curious person. I like to coach abroad or in Italy. I have to feel the confidence and if you can work in the right way, which does not mean quietly. In the last two or three years, Serie A has become very competitive. There is no more soccer waiting, the results in Europe are not by chance. I would love to return to Italy, but we’ll see,” said Gattuso, who has played for Napoli, AC Milan, Pisa and Palermo.
