More and more present for the games of Juventus, Alessandro Del Piero is seen by the tifosi as the potential successor of Maximiliano Allegri. The latter finally reacts to this rumor, in an interview with CBS Sports Golazo
Alessandro Del Piero first recalled his great love for Juventus since his childhood. “I was a Juventus fan even before I played for Juve and I spent nineteen years at the club. I lived through the 2006 crisis and I know that rebuilding a team takes time. You don’t play in the Champions League, you lose a lot of chances. It took years to win a trophy again, but I never had regrets about my choice,” he said. Later, he reacted to the rumors that he could be the new coach of Juventus. “There are of course many rumors. I do not want to say yes or no. I am not ready to give an answer because it is a huge thing but obviously my heart is in it. As I said, I spent nineteen years at the club of my life. We’ll see what happens,” continued the Italian legend.
