Polish international Szczesny could leave Juventus this summer. The Polish international has attracted interest from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, but talks have stalled for several weeks now.
Juventus have already agreed to sign Michele Di Gregorio from Monza and are ready to sell Szczesny, one of the club’s highest earners. “Loyalty is very important to me. Therefore, if I sign a two-year contract, it means I know what to do for the next two years. If I sign for four, it means I know what to do in the next four. I want to respect the conditions of the contract,” said Szczesny in a recent interview with the Polish YouTube channel Foot Truck, quoted by SOS Fanta and other Italian media. Szczesny still has a year left on his contract at Allianz Stadium, but is ready to leave the club to help Juventus financially. Sky Sport Italia recently claimed that Monza were dreaming of signing Szczesny this summer, but the Brianzoli outfit won’t be able to afford his €7 million-a-year salary. Szczesny joined Juventus on an €18 million deal from Arsenal in 2017 after a one-year loan at Roma. The Polish international made 253 appearances for the Old Lady, winning eight trophies, including three Serie A titles. Last June, Szczesny was linked with a return to Arsenal, but there have been no new reports of the Gunners’interest.
