Inter and AC Milan will face each other in May in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. In the run-up to this match, Alessandro Antonello, the CEO of Inter Milan, in a recent media release, addressed several issues. Among others, the derby of the Madonnina that will allow a Lombardy club and play the European Cup final in Istanbul, Turkey.

“After 20 years, return to play a derby worth the Champions League final also means a lot for the city of Milan and for all Italian soccer. Two demanding challenges await us, it will be a great party and then we will see who goes to Istanbul. Clearly, getting results like this, even if they are not anticipated at the beginning of the season, helps a lot from the point of view of sustainability and financial strength”, said the President and CEO Alessandro Antonello.
