At AC Milan, things are not going according to plan. Coach Stefano Pioli is even threatened with dismissal. Speaking to Gazetta Dello Sport, Arrigo Sacchi asked for patience. He revealed that the club bought a lot of foreigners last summer, and that they need time to acclimatize.

My opinion on the summer market is that only foreign players were bought, who didn’t come from brilliant experiences and, on top of that, they had to get used to Italian soccer. But we want to understand that for a boy from abroad, it’s complicated to connect to our wavelength. Even the great champions have experienced difficulties.
