AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani has insisted that AC Milan will “start from 0-0” in tonight’s Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Slavia Praha.

Furlani arrived in the Czech Republic for UEFA’s customary lunch before Europe’s knockout matches. AC Milan will kick off against Slavia at the Fortuna Arena at 17:45 GMT. The Rossoneri manager gave a few brief answers to the journalists waiting for him to arrive outside the venue. Furlani didn’t broach the subject of the current investigation into AC Milan by the financial authorities in Italy, and instead focused solely on Thursday night’s match. “Tonight’s game is important, the Europa League is a competition we’ve never won. We’d like to try. We start from 4-2, but in our heads we have to believe that we start from 0-0,” Furlani told reporters in Prague.
