Several Italian sources claim that Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi is likely to miss the next two Serie A matches.
The Nerazzurri confirmed a muscle injury to Frattesi on Tuesday, stating that the Italian midfielder’s condition would be assessed daily. La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport report that the 24-year-old is set to miss the next two Serie A matches against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico and Salernitana at the San Siro. Wednesday’s Gazzetta claims that Inter’s doctors don’t want to take any risks. Frattesi will therefore probably be available again for Simone Inzaghi on February 20 when Inter welcome Atletico Madrid to the Stadio Meazza for the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. 16. Frattesi has joined Inter on an initial loan deal with an option to buy from Sassuolo in the summer of 2023. The Italian international has four goals and four assists in 27 appearances in all competitions this season.
