Arrigo Sacchi, legendary AC Milan coach, recently declared that Rafael Leao didn’t have the profile to play in his team. Today, he is back at it again, pointing the finger at the Portuguese striker’s lack of efficiency. As far as he is concerned, he needs help from the team if he is to perform at a higher level.
“It could be a mental question, a question of motivation, a lack of ambition. I don’t know. What I do know is that he could do more, and with greater continuity. He needs to be convinced and helped. Maybe with specific training. He’s an important asset for the club, he earns a lot of money and we absolutely have to make the most of him. Soccer is about 11 players helping each other. If someone doesn’t do that, it’s no good,” Arrigo Sacchi told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
