Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of Napoli, recently addressed the issue of racism and anti-Semitism in soccer. The Italian manager tried to explain the scourges by the lack of education.
“We thought that’after eighty years, it didn’t exist anymore, but instead we were wrong. We have a problem of education, we are mainly responsible for what happens on the web because we allow our children or grandchildren to be permanently interconnected with their smartphones and on the web there is no control. Anti-Semitism mingles with racism, and there are examples in stadiums with so-called free zones where only the fan law exists”, declared De Laurentiis.
