Napoli lost 4-2 to Real Madrid on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League. Despite the negative result, Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri is proud of his side’s play, and is satisfied despite a few mistakes.
“We played an excellent game, and at 2-2 we could even have taken the lead if we had counter-attacked. I had seen Real Madrid in trouble. Then that goal brought the score to 3-2 and we went too far. Many defeats by 3 or 4 goals don’t change much. I’m satisfied because from an overall point of view, we played an excellent game, but there are a few things we need to correct,” Walter Mazzarri told Sky Sports.
