Finally the white smoke for the renewal of Rafael Leao at AC Milan? This is what seems to be revealed by the Gazzetta Dello Sport in today’s edition. The Italian media reports that both parties have reached a verbal agreement for an imminent extension.
Rafael Leao is expected to stay at AC Milan. While the club has been discussing his extension for some time, they have reached an agreement with the Portuguese. The new contract should be for 5 years with an annual salary of 7 million euros. The former Lille player should also receive a signing bonus. For the moment, the only problem is the dispute between Sporting Lisbon and Lille. The Portuguese club is claiming the sum of 45 million euros as training costs and has even referred the matter to UEFA.
