Juventus defender Dean Huijsen is currently on loan at Roma, but Tottenham Hotspur has now joined Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the race.
The central defender is just 18 years old and was promoted from the youth team to the senior team for a few Serie A appearances before his loan to Roma in January. He impressed even more at the Stadio Olimpico, even scoring his first goal, and according to reports, Roma will also attempt to negotiate an extension to the loan for next season. Given his age and the extent to which his value on the transfer market has already levitated in just a few months, this could be a good option for Juve. Meanwhile, following reports that Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were interested in the Dutchman, Tuttojuve now insists that Tottenham are also in the running for Huijsen. Spurs have already shown they’re happy to invest huge sums in Juventus rejects, after paying 50 million euros for Cristian Romero when he was sold to Atalanta for just 17 million euros. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juve are not yet ready to sell Huijsen and hope that his value will rise further.
