Alessandro Bastoni had a fever yesterday, so he warmed up separately from the rest of the team this morning, joining his team-mates for the rest of the training session afterwards, while Federico Dimarco worked separately.
Bastoni and Dimarco were not seen working with the group at Friday’s training session, which was open to the media within the first 15 minutes. Bastoni warmed up in the gym near the training ground this morning, as he had a fever on Thursday, but then joined the rest of the team to complete the training session on the pitch. Dimarco had been training separately for two days prior to Monday’s match against Croatia, but still started in the last match of the group phase and was substituted at the start of the second half. Dimarco has not fully recovered from a calf injury sustained against Spain, and Spalletti will probably say more about his availability at a press conference today.
