With two days to go before Roma’s draw with AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico, Jose Mourinho is still unable to call upon two key members of his Giallorossi team.

Despite being named on the bench against AC Milan, Paulo Dybala didn’t train individually with the rest of the Roma squad on Monday morning. La Joya is still struggling with a sore ankle according to La Gazzetta dello Sport and then complained of a slight problem with his adductor. With less than 48 hours until Roma travel to Monza on Wednesday, there is apparently still a possibility that Dybala could be involved, even among the starters, but Mourinho and Roma’s medical staff will make further assessments of Dybala’s condition within the week. If he is not deemed fit enough for the clash against Raffaele Palladino’s team, Saturday’s match against Inter in the capital could be the targeted return date. It is also a similar situation for Georginio Wijnaldum, who also trained separately from the rest of the Roma team earlier this week.
