It is feared that Milan Skriniar’s time with Inter could come to an abrupt end following his back injury. The 28-year-old Slovakian central defender has been forced to miss the last four consecutive league outings for the Nerazzurri due to a back injury, later confirmed as a nerve irritation due to disc compression. Skriniar flew from Milan to Bordeaux on Monday and went to the CERS (Centre Européen de Rééducation du Sportif) in Capbreton, where he underwent a series of medical examinations under the supervision of a PSG staff member.
L’Equipe details how Skriniar’s entourage is afraid he won’t be able to return to action this season, meaning his time with Inter is already over. The Slovak defender will leave the club on a free transfer this summer to join PSG, also concerned about his injury.
