“Too early to say that Thuram is as strong as Lukaku,” Lucio

Former Inter player Lucio recently spoke to the media about the signing of Marcus Thuram by the Nerazzurri. He acknowledges the player’s enormous qualities, but thinks it’s too early to attempt a comparison with the likes of Romelu Lukaku or Edin Dzeko.

“Inter have found an excellent striker, perfect for the game he plays, as he helps both Lautaro and the midfielders. It’s still too early to say whether he’s better than Lukaku and Dzeko, two monsters in their own right, but he’s finding consistency match after match. He had already demonstrated his talent in Germany, and it was in moving to Milan that he made the right choice. If they continue like this, he and the Argentine will become one of the most dangerous pairs in Europe.
