Aurelio De Laurentiis recently gave an interview to La Republica. The Napoli boss went back to the time when Ancelotti and Gattuso had managed the club. He admitted that some things happened that did not convince him.
“Things had happened with Ancelotti and Gattuso that didn’t convince me, so I finally got rid of all those players that I found a bit unmotivated and couldn’t take me where I wanted. I felt the need for fresh air,” said the leader. In the rest of his speech, he praised Luciano Spalletti, who recently won the Scudetto with the Azzurri. “He is a leader, a great storyteller: everyone should study him, there is always something to learn from him,” said ADL.
