Marcus Thuram, currently with the French national team, has made a media appearance. He spoke of his relationship with Thierry Henry, whom he considers a reference in his position. He declares that the former Arsenal striker is like a member of his family.

“He’s a reference, not only for the way he plays but also for his behavior. He’s an example of what Clairefontaine is trying to create, and for me he’s the perfect example. I’ve known Henry well since I was a child, and like my father, he means a lot to me. I consider him a bit like my uncle,” Marcus Thuram declared in a podcast from Clairefontaine.
