In a statement issued today, Italian Football Federation (FIGC) President Gabriele Gravina said that an agreement had been reached between the player’s entourage and the public prosecutor on a sentence.
Sandro Tonali has been sentenced. Although it was announced that he would be suspended for 18 months, the Italian midfielder was suspended for 10 months. The other eight months were eventually converted into community service.
