Alessandro Bastoni believes that nobody expected Inter to win the title, and says he doesn’t want to leave the club because he plays “for the passion”.
Bastoni published an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport talking about the Nerazzurri’s season and their ambitions for the future. “Everyone expected us to win with Conte, but not this time. I don’t remember any expert saying that Inter were the favourites. The title would be a success for the whole group. I always concentrate on the defensive phase and I think I’ve grown this year. I saw how Rudiger scored for Haaland in the Champions League and I want to emulate him. We lacked experience against Atletico. We’re sorry to have been eliminated by Atletico. My dream is to win the Champions League,” he revealed.
