AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli was at a press conference following the 0-1 defeat to Barça in a friendly in the United States. The Italian coach gave his assessment of the training camp in America. According to Pioli, the pre-season trip has been nothing but positive.
“The assessment of the tour is very positive because we worked well and faced three high-level matches that gave us something special. These are things we’ll be working on as we’re three weeks away from the start of the championship, but what I’ve seen is very positive. We’ve learned a lot from it. The new players are settling in well, but it’s clear that it takes time, because changing leagues and teams takes time,” said Stefano Pioli.
