Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke at a pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s match against Sassuolo. He addressed a number of issues relating to the match, in particular the Nerazzurri’s defensive solidity.
Inter Milan haven’t been troubled defensively this season. Yann Sommer is only called upon once every 53 minutes. For Simone Inzaghi, the data are important. But the credit must go to the whole team, who are working well, in his opinion. “The data is important, it’s clear that the whole team is working well, when we talk about the offensive and defensive phases, we’re talking about the whole team, not just the defenders. All departments are working in the best possible way”, said Simone Inzaghi.
