Atalanta are reportedly close to resolving the problems they have had with Charles De Ketelaere’s agents so that he can complete the transfer from AC Milan.
The two clubs had reached a complete agreement on the move, which is a loan of 3 million euros with an option to buy for a further 23 million euros plus 4 million euros in bonuses. However, the situation came to an abrupt halt over personal conditions and commissions demanded by his representatives, prompting Atalanta to apply the brakes. According to Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting yesterday proved positive and Atalanta are now much closer to settling the final details of the transfer. If all goes according to plan, De Ketelaere should be able to take his medical with the Bergamo team early next week.
