Here are the players rated worst by La Gazzetta dello Sport on the third day of Serie A.

Midfielder Marten De Roon – Atalanta (4,5)

To stop Thuram, he had to hold on with both hands. He was the emblem of Atalanta’s evening, not running but standing still.

Midfielder Mario Pasalic – Atalanta (4,5)

Got lost in midfield, with no reference points for marking. Inert on the 3-0.

Piston Davide Zappacosta – Atalanta (4,5)

Late on the 2-0, he let the ball pass without intervening on the 4-0. Starts on the left and finishes on the right.

Goalkeeper Ivan Provedel – Lazio- (4,5)

Both goals are on his conscience. On the first, he came out badly and was late. On the second, Leao passed the ball between his legs.

Striker Giacomo Raspadori – Napoli (4,5)

Yet another wasted opportunity as a starter, and that’s bad news. He couldn’t tie the game together, wasn’t dangerous and struggled to keep hold of the ball.

They also deserve a mention

Colpani and Biraghi (Fiorentina) also scored 4.5
