Stefano Pioli is thinking about making a change in his starting lineup. The reigning Serie A champions seem more vulnerable than last year, so Pioli is considering a change of system for the next few games.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefano Pioli could use two different systems in the upcoming games, hoping to end AC Milan’s poor form. According to reports, Pioli could switch to a 4-3-3 system against Lazio on Tuesday. On paper, this new formation would allow the Rossoneri to be more covered in central midfield. Another option for Pioli is a 4-4-2 formation that would offer more support to Olivier Giroud. Charles De Ketelaere, Brahim Diaz, Ante Rebic, Divock Origi and Rafael Leao are among the potential attacking partners of the French striker, who has scored nine goals in 24 games this season but has yet to find the net in 2023.
