It’s already the opening of the summer mercato. Several clubs on the market have already targeted potential reinforcements to sign. For AC Milan, however, things are not yet taking shape. For Stefano Pioli, a striker is not expected to arrive this January. But he doesn’t rule out the arrival of new players.
At a press conference before the match between AC Milan and Empoli, Stefano Pioli answered a few questions. He was asked if he was planning to take on a striker to replace Samuel Chukwueze, currently in training with Nigeria for the CAN 2023. He revealed that Noah Okafor is now available and that no new arrivals are expected in this sector. However, other areas could be strengthened. “Okafor will be available for the Roma game. We’re pretty full. The managers are working on the transfer market: if there’s opportunities for improvement, they’ll be ready,” said Pioli.
