FIGC has announced the members of Luciano Spalletti’s Italian staff, including Gianluigi Buffon, who will take on the role of Head of Delegation.
Spalletti is expected to be unveiled by the Italian Federation on Saturday, weeks after his appointment as Italy’s national team coach, the FIGC has now confirmed the members of his team. Many, including his assistant Marco Domenichini, have already worked with him at Napoli , where Spalletti won the Partenopei’s first Serie A title in 33 years in 2022-23. Daniele Baldini, Salvatore Russo and Francesco Sinatti also worked at the Stadio Maradona with the Certaldo-born coach. Legendary goalkeeper and 2006 World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon has also been added to Spalletti’s team as head of the Italian delegation.
