Manchester United won’t buy Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, but he could return to Serie A.

The midfielder made the move last summer on loan for 9 million euros with an option to buy for a further 20 million euros plus 5 million euros in add-ons. He was largely used outside his position at Old Trafford, even occasionally as a left-back, and failed to impress sufficiently. It is widely reported that Manchester United won’t buy him, but Fiorentina don’t intend to play him on his return either. Juventus had already been linked with the Moroccan international, but Tuttosport now suggests that AC Milan are also interested in making a move for Amrabat. The Rossoneri are looking for a figure in midfield who could provide a more defensive approach to the current team under Stefano Pioli.
