Several media outlets are reporting that central defender Alessandro Bastoni has recovered in time for Inter’s Serie A clash with Udinese on Saturday evening after an injury that has kept him out of action since the last international break.
The 24-year-old was sent off from Italy’s training camp in November after reporting a calf problem, and has missed all three club games since then in Serie A and the Champions League. However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bastoni has been training with the team in recent days and proved on Saturday morning that he was in good enough condition to return to action against Udinese. Benjamin Pavard, who has also been injured in recent weeks, is also set to return to action and could be involved in Saturday’s team.
