Inter Milan will soon resume training for the new season. Before returning to the training center, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi was at a press conference. He touched on a number of subjects, including the possibility of André Onana’s departure. For him, the Cameroonian remains a member of his squad. But if he does leave, the club will be able to compensate.
“It is clear that we are talking about Onana, who is an Inter player and who will be among those called up for training tomorrow. We know that the market is unpredictable, we know that all Italian teams have to sell before buying, but at the same time I’m calm. The owners have assured me that this year too we’ll have a competitive team, and I’ve been fighting for this since the post-season meeting: these are things you have to live with in modern soccer, the only important thing is that Inter are as competitive as they’ve been over the last two years,” said Simone Inzaghi before Inter took over.
