Simon Kjaer has just 12 months left on his AC Milan contract and could be offered a new deal to allow him to retire at the club.
The 34-year-old Danish central defender originally joined the Giallorossi in January 2020 from Seville, spending six months on loan before completing a permanent transfer worth around 3.68 million euros. Kjaer has proved to be an important part of AC Milan’s recent success, being a key team leader and a reliable rotation option. He has made 96 appearances since joining three and a half years ago. As reported by MilanNews.it, Kjaer hopes to continue with AC Milan until his retirement, and could be offered a one-year contract extension by the club, which would extend his stay until June 2025.
