The final decision has been made. Simon Kjaer will not be extending his AC Milan adventure. In a recent media release, Mikkel Beck, his agent, explained that the Dane would be saying farewell at the end of the current season.
“His contract will expire this summer, and then Simon will leave Milan. There’s no drama, the parties share and there’s an understanding of each other’s wishes. It’s just the natural farewell to a club where Simon has played and loved to play for four years. It seems that the right time has come; one day he told me that he would have loved to play for Milan AC. He managed to make his dream come true, and in the most wonderful way. Simon played the most games at Milan…”, he asserts. Simon Kjaer arrived in Lombardy in the summer of 2020. He played 120 games, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
