Adriano Galliani, former vice-president of AC Milan, reacted to AC Milan’s defeat by Inter in the Madonnina derby. He also spoke of what would have been the reaction of Silvio Berlusconi, the club’s legendary president, who recently passed away.
“Maybe I’ll surprise you. Berlusconi was certainly a great Milan fan, but he wasn’t anti-Inter at all, because he felt he was a citizen of Milan. He would have suffered a lot for Milan, but he would have recognized the great merits of Inter, who played a perfect game. He was an aesthete, even in soccer, and the fact that a team from his city played so well would have pleased him,” Galliani told Corriere Della Sera.
