Erik Lamela, former Roma player, has spoken about the Europa League final that will oppose Sevilla, his current club, to his former team. The Argentine winger, although he keeps good contacts with his former teammates and his former coach José Mourinho, warns them of the Andalusian club’s objective: to win the trophy.
“The final I dreamed of? Yes, I was hoping for it. I left a lot of friends there. And I keep hearing from them. Before the semi-finals, with some of them, we barely spoke. Now let’s think about winning the final and then we’ll talk about it. It will be a special game, difficult and complicated. Mourinho has made Roma even stronger. I know him, I like him a lot. We will go to Budapest with the same idea, to win,” said Erik Lamela to Corriere Dello Sport.
