Andrea Colpani is fast becoming one of Monza’s brightest sparks, and his potential has already attracted the attention of some of Serie A’s top teams.
The 24-year-old Italian midfielder signed a new five-year contract with the Biancorossi earlier this month, showing the club’s confidence in his potential despite his relatively quiet first season in the top flight. Colpani took his first steps in Serie A this season, scoring a brace in Monza’s impressive 2-0 victory over Empoli on Saturday. As Calciomercato.com points out, Monza are convinced that Colpani will become a Serie A star, and this belief is shared by big clubs including Inter, Juventus and Roma. All three will continue to follow the 24-year-old throughout the season, and he could become a fixture in the transfer window next summer if his impressive development continues.
