According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Saudi Arabian clubs are trying to lure Paulo Dybala away from Roma, as the Giallorossi fear losing their star player due to his €12 million clause.
La Joya has two years left on his contract at the Stadio Olimpico, but any foreign club can secure his signature this summer by paying 12 million euros. Dybala also has a clause valid for Serie A clubs, but this is worth 20 million euros and Roma can cancel it by offering Dybala a new contract with a higher salary. According to Corriere dello Sport, Saudi clubs are keeping a close eye on Dybala, although no formal approach has yet been made. The report claims that Al-Ahli, who recently signed Kalidou Kouliably from Chelsea, are considering paying Dybala’s clause. A substantial offer would tempt the Argentinian striker, who turns 30 in November. Roma clearly do not want to part with their striker this summer.
