Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali reiterates that Domenico Berardi will not be moving to Juventus this summer.
Sassuolo has slammed the door and has no intention of reopening talks with Juventus, even if they were to reach the asking price of 30 million euros. “Domenico will stay at Sassuolo. It’s true, we had a negotiation with Juventus, we had a discussion about values, because we were initially quite far from the agreed figures. Above and beyond the financial situation, our priority was timing. We were very clear that we had to conclude this deal within a certain timeframe, and this was not respected,” Carnevali told DAZN. Carnevali warns that even if another club came up with the cash offer of €30 million, he still wouldn’t sell Berardi so late this summer.
