Samir Handanovic is not expected to play soccer next year. The Slovenian goalkeeper of Inter Milan is close to retirement. He is expected to retire at the end of the season, but should not be too far away from soccer. He aspires to a career as a coach.
At 38 years old, the end seems closer and closer for Samir Handanovic. The Slovenian, bothered this season by muscular problems, is already thinking about his retirement. After 11 seasons at Inter, 6 at Udinese, one at Lazio, Treviso, Rimini and Domzale, the Slovenian goalkeeper should retire after 21 years of career. The 2021-2022 Italian champion should not leave soccer. He aspires to a career as a coach and should probably learn in Lombardy to aspire to a coaching position with the Nerazzurri later on.
