At his press conference for the Champions League match against RB Salzburg, reported by TMW, Simone Inzaghi warned his players about the strength of Red Bull Salzburg and that they’ll have to put in a solid performance on Tuesday night if they want to avoid defeat against the Austrians.
“We won an important match on Saturday, but it wasn’t easy. Tomorrow’s game is very important, in a very balanced group, where we’ll have to keep a high level of concentration. Salzburg aren’t an easy team to face; they won in Lisbon against Benfica. In a group as balanced as ours, with a great team like Real Sociedad, we know that every match will be very important. The lads know that, and they know that there isn’t much time for us, or for our opponents. They are a team that plays good soccer,” he declared.
