Salernitana coach Paulo Sousa could leave the club this summer. Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly keen to appoint Sousa as Napoli’s new head coach, having been impressed by his work in Campania. To replace him, the club have reportedly targeted Andrea Pirlo.
Andrea Pirlo has been out of work since leaving Fatih Karagumruk in Turkey. The Salernitana are keen to recruit him should Paulo Sousa leave for Napoli. Should the former AC Milan player fail to make the grade, Gennaro Gattuso remains the Serie A club’s second option. For the time being, none of his operations have progressed. But things could move fast this summer.
