Amir Rrahmani has agreed to sign a new contract with Napoli, ready to extend his stay with the club until June 2028.
The 29-year-old Kosovan center-back has proven to be a key part of Luciano Spalletti’s Partenopei team this season, with 2521 minutes of action in Serie A and the Champions League. Rrahmani has been with Napoli since January 2020 after joining the club in a deal worth around €14.2 million with Hellas Verona, finishing this season with the Gialloblu. As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Rrahmani’s agent, Adrian Aliaj, met with Napoli’s management this weekend, where the details of a new contract for the Kosovar defender were agreed.
The 29-year-old will sign a new contract binding him to the club until June 2027, with an automatic extension option for an additional year, essentially a five-year contract. Rrahmani will officially sign the contract with Napoli in the coming days, confirming his long-term future with the Serie A champions in waiting.
