After arriving at Roma on loan last summer, Romelu Lukaku quickly established himself as a key figure in the Italian capital’s team. Now, as his loan is coming to an end, the Belgian is considering staying at the club indefinitely. Roma will have to find a way to convince Chelsea to sell him.
With 18 goals and 4 assists in 37 games this season, Romelu Lukaku has established himself as a key player for Roma. No longer wanted by Chelsea, he could well stay in the Italian capital. At least, that’s what he wants. But for this to happen, the Giallorossi must make a financial effort to pay the 37 million euros demanded by the London club. A place in the Champions League at the end of the season would go a long way towards achieving this goal. Lukaku therefore has 9 days left to score and help the team. Winning the Europa League could also be a way for the club to replenish its coffers and buy Big Rom.
