After arriving at Roma last summer on loan, Romelu Lukaku could stay in the Italian capital beyond next June. The giallorossi want to keep the Belgian and are already drawing up plans to do so.

With 8 goals in 11 games this season, Romelu Lukaku is off to a good start at Roma. He has already convinced the club’s staff, who are already thinking about the future. The club hopes to keep him after his loan spell, reports the Daily Mirror. Chelsea don’t really want him any more, and Roma are hoping to play this card to get him. But in a bid to save money, José Mourinho’s club are hoping to include Tammy Abraham in the deal. He left Chelsea for Roma in 2021 for 40 million euros. Roma should be able to formulate a concrete proposal to the Blues during the initial discussions.
