The contract that binds Chris Smalling to Roma Expires next June. To this end, the Giallorossi are pushing to extend the player. The club has made a first offer for its defender and hopes for a positive return this winter.

Arriving at Roma in the summer of 2019 from Manchester United on a loan deal with an option to buy, Chris Smalling made a permanent move to the Italian capital in the summer of 2020 after Roma lifted the 15 million purchase option. In his fourth season, the English defender has already largely convinced. Tiago Pinto has offered the 33-year-old a contract for two more years. But the only problem is that the former Fulham player should be paid less than the current 3 million euros. It remains to be seen if he will be favorable.
