Roma are reconsidering their position on Romelu Lukaku. While Chelsea recently set a selling price of €35 million, the club doesn’t seem prepared to spend that kind of money. At least, new coach Daniele De Rossi isn’t too keen on the player’s qualities, and is already thinking of an alternative.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku is unlikely to stay at Roma next season. Despite his 15 goals in 27 games, new coach Daniele De Rossi doesn’t seem to be keen on him, and is looking for a different kind of center-forward. The Italian has two options open to him. The first is to hope for the return of Tammy Abraham, who fits in much better with his style of play. But should the Englishman not be at 100% on his return from injury, PSG’s Hugo Ekitike is another option to explore.
