The club made the extension official today, via a press release, a few hours before the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals against AC Milan. “After a meeting yesterday afternoon with Daniele De Rossi, we are pleased to announce that he will continue as AS Roma coach at the end of this season and for the immediate future. During his brief tenure as coach, the positive impact his leadership has had on the club as a whole has continued the story of his extraordinary career with Roma, marked by respect and courage, while his strength and confidence are deeply rooted,” reads the statement.
