Rui Patricio’s contract with Roma expires next summer. The Portuguese goalkeeper is not expected to stay in the Italian capital. The club has reportedly decided not to extend his contract.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, Rui Patricio is unlikely to continue his adventure at Roma. The 35-year-old goalkeeper’s contract expires at the end of the season. He would then be 36 years old, and the Giallorossi will need to rejuvenate this position. He is also no longer impressing the fans, who want something better. The Portuguese, who arrived from Wolverhampton in 2021 on the instructions of José Mourinho, is set to leave after three seasons at the club. He has played 117 games for the club so far. His future destination is not yet known.
