Former Inter youth director Roberto Samaden, now at Atalanta, has spoken out about the use of young players in the Nerazzurri first team. He believes that the Lombardy club does not make sufficient use of the products of its academy within its professional squad.

“The greatest success and joy for those who look after the youth is to see them make their debut and play in the first team. This is the dream not only of the boys, but also of everyone involved, from the manager to those who drive the bus or open and close the sports center. Especially over the last 7-8 years, there have been a number of players who have invaded Serie A pitches today, and not only that, some of them are also abroad,” Roberto Samaden told SportItalia.
